Design Story
Pumpkin takes its name from the soft, ribbed swell of its base. The charcoal base is carved in a rounded, slightly compressed form: wider than it is tall, suggesting mass and rotation simultaneously. In a room, it reads like an object in motion held still by the weight of the wood beneath the finish. A lamp for the person who finds stillness not in the absence of movement, but in its perfect completion.
